Interests
I really enjoy working on anything with an internal combustion engine. I've been fixing cars for over 8 years now and find doing so quite thrilling. There are constantly new challenges and no two jobs are quite the same. Recently I've been getting into German cars, which has proven to be quite the expense. Though everything on German cars is built and assembled quite logically, everything you touch is super expensive and takes an incredible amount of time to do. It's tough, but it's more of a tough love. They give me something to do.
Employment
Since way back in 2010, I've been working for my dad's auto repair place over in Skippack. It's been a load of learning experience, as I've built quite the expansive list of customer service skills as well as the ability to handle transactions on behalf of the company. Additionally, I've learned everything I know about cars and the automotive industry here and plan on continuing this career for a little while after Highschool. I typically head directly to work after school, 5 days per week. Every day I try to learn something new, and every new car that comes into the shop proves to be an awesome new challenge to overcome.
Volunteer Work
I work very closely with the main even organizer at the local bread pantry on their food drives. This is where they put together 400+ orders of a barbeque meal to raise funds. This was recently moved to the Peace In Zion United Church on Big Road in Ziglersville. I work diligently to both manage orders and participate in the distribution of barbeque orders throughout the entire day of the event, alongside BSA Scout Troop 39. Last September was extremely exciting and I can not wait for this year's drive!
